Title: Application Support Specialist

FLSA Status: Full-Time Salary Position

Pay: $44,720.00 - $48,880.00

Reports to: Application Support Manager


Position Description 

The Application Support Specialist is responsible for providing technical support, troubleshooting, and maintenance for the organization's core enterprise software applications.

*This position is generally considered an entry-level IT support position.

Primary Responsibilities

· Solve technical issues and complete user requests through the Halo ITSM ticket system, escalating to Level II support when applicable, performed with exceptional customer service and timely resolution.

· Ensure applications are properly monitored and updated when applicable, keeping consistent communication with staff on all crucial statuses.

· Work with software vendors for advanced support issues and to deploy new software and features.  

· Assist with the research, procurement, and deployment of application specific projects within user defined timelines at the direction of the Application Support Manager.

· Schedule and conduct trainings for staff to guarantee user literacy and proficiency for supported applications.

· Assist the IT team in any way necessary during high priority, ‘all hands on deck’ incidents and projects.  

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

· Ability to dynamically learn new and evolving IT systems and applications.

· Demonstrated understanding of IT related concepts.

· Familiarity with enterprise SaaS applications.

· Proven track record of contributing to projects, collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve goals within established timelines and budgets.

· Ability to provide comprehensive training to end-users.

Physical Environment  

· The primary work location includes a food storage warehouse with freezers and coolers, alongside a spacious office space.

· Candidates should be comfortable navigating and working in both warehouse and office environments, adapting to the varied conditions inherent in each setting.

· Additionally, there are two satellite locations where occasional travel may be required, necessitating flexibility and readiness to work in diverse physical environments.
