Roadrunner Food Bank, a Feeding America member serving the entire state of New Mexico, is seeking an experienced and compassionate Accounting Manager. The Accounting Manager reports directly to the Chief Financial Officer and is responsible for overseeing the accounts payable and general accounting functions, while performing many of the more complex general accounting functions such as:

  • Preparing monthly and annual periodic financial statements and reports
  • Maintaining financial accounting software
  • Managing the capital assets and grants modules in the ERP system
  • Reconciling bank accounts and other assets and liabilities
  • Monitoring policies and procedures and recommending improvements when needed
  • Assisting with annual independent audit and 990 tax return preparation
  • Supervising accounts payable and general accounting functions, and coaching and supporting staff in those positions on a daily basis

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in accounting and have 3-5 years of accounting experience. Non-profit and supervisory experience are preferred.
