Service Opportunity

Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of New Mexicans? 

Roadrunner Food Bank is mobilizing to respond to increased need during the COVID-19 pandemic. Our Community Initiatives team is looking for individuals to join our team as SeedCorps AmeriCorps Members. This is a service opportunity that includes a modest living stipend and Segal Education Award.  

We have multiple positions available in:

  • Albuquerque
  • Deming
  • Las Cruces
  • Gallup
  • Santa Fe
  • Farmington

These positions will be 20-35 hours a week for a total of 900 hours. The service term begins October 4th, 2021 and ends May 29th, 2022.

SeedCorps is a program of AmeriCorps, a national service program. Members will be responsible for overseeing volunteers in warehouse food box builds, leading drive-thru mobile food pantries, and expanding food bank services where necessary. Members will also have the opportunity to learn how to drive a box truck and operate an electric pallet jack.

Requirements

  • At least 17 years of age
  • High school GED
  • Able to pass a drug test
  • US Citizen or Permanent Resident
